I decided to make this video as the Summer holidays are fast approaching and thought it would be a lovely idea to do a selection of videos on craft projects that parents can do with children.

This drawstring bag is very simply and inexpensive, adult supervision will be needed when using the sewing machine depending on the age of the child. These bags are very cute and are ideal for storing shoes at school of for a younger child maybe a spare set of clothes.

You can make these bags larger or smaller and using a wide variety of fabrics.

    Yours is one of the easiest tutorials on a cinch bag that I've viewed.  My only suggestion is to match the seams with you box your bottoms.  It does look a bit neater.  Other than that, THANK YOU FOR SHARING!

    your video is so helpful that i could stitched this bag without any difficulty.
    l only stucked at one point.
    l want to know if the chamber of the two strings are seperated from the centre or is it the same for both the strings?

    Nice tutorial and easy to follow, thanks. I think the box seams are supposed to match the side seams for a more polished finish though and that's achievable by matching the seams before sewing.
