. . . . .
I know most parents don’t want to load up their children with a glass full of candy and treats on most nights…but New Year’s eve is one night that the kids can stay up late and have some fun being a little crazy!
I make these over the top candy parfait glasses for New Years for the kids…but the adults always end up wanting one, too!

This is a perfect last-minute treat; something you can whip up in just a few minutes with store-bought items, and it will wow the socks off your kids!
Here is what you will need to make this fun treat:
The first thing to do is to prepare the printables. Cut out the wine glass name tags and cut into the middle to cut the circle out. You can then write names on them and slip them onto the bottom of the glasses. This is such a fun way to keep track of your glass!
Next you need to prepare the straws. Cut out the ‘Party until 2017’ circles and use some washi or hot glue to attach them to the straw. Then slide two powdered donuts underneath and put the straw into the glass, resting the donuts on the side. Fill the bottom of the glass with the peanut butter M&M’s to keep the straw in place.
You then cut up the brownies into small bites and place 4 pieces into each glass…I took the frosting off these ones…you don’t want these too rich, hahaha! 😉
One of my favorite things to do is flavor my whip cream. Peanut butter is my kids favorite kind, so that’s what we do with this. First add a cup of whipping cream into a chilled mixing bowl and mix until you get soft peaks. The you add the sugar and peanut butter and mix until peanut buttery deliciousness…just about 30 seconds or so.
Add a spoonful on the top of each candy parfait.
Finish the whole thing off with some chocolate syrup and serve. You can make these ahead of time and freeze them. Just let them thaw for about 20 minutes before serving. Such a fun wow factor to bring these out for dessert!
