Welcome spring with a craft the whole family can enjoy. Suncatchers are star shaped origami designs you can make with your children. My six and ten year old made these with me and now they are hanging in the homeschool room window adding a bright festive spring feel.

Making suncatchers is an easy satisfying craft for the whole family to enjoy. You can find this kit at A Child’s Dream. It comes with an instructional book with several star designs with easy-to-follow step by step instructions. The kit also comes with enough kite paper to make several stars as well as a glue stick. The only thing you’ll need is a pair of scissors. A Child’s Dream also carries kite paper in an assortment of colors that can be purchased separately.

  2. Honestly, your videos are so wonderful, Hana! I've been wanting to make these for our home ๐Ÿ™‚ We had plans to make these with our waldorf nursery school teacher at our last parents meeting, but all us moms got to visiting and we never got around to creating :/ I was disappointed. My son's school has them on all the windows and I've always loved them. Thank you for sharing!

  6. We just ordered this particular kit! ๐Ÿ™‚ย  I remember making these when I was in elementary school.ย  So much fun.ย  Your stars are stunning. Quick question.ย  We'll be trying our hand at homemade paper kites in a couple of weeks.ย  Would you happen to know ofย  a good place to get larger pieces of paper like this?
